The company Corsair announced reaching a record frequency of DDR3 memory modules in a system based on Core i7.

In the laboratory three-volume set of DDR3 memory 6 GB managed to get to work at a frequency of 2533 MHz at 7-8-7-20 timing at. The world record was verified and confirmed by the system CPU-Z, a standard means of verifying the results of overclocking. For the first time in history that the frequency has been achieved on the platform of Core i7 with three modules with a total memory of 6 GB: earlier similar attempts were made with a single module of 1 GB.

To achieve the record memory Corsair Dominator GT 2000C7 was installed in the motherboard eVGA X58 3X SLI Classified. Meals provided power supply Corsair HX1000W.

All modules of Corsair Dominator GT are based on technology of dual heat DHX +, which provides the heat from the shells of chips from both sides. All products of Dominator GT come with a fan, Corsair Airflow, improving ventilation radiators. Removable edges cooling system DHX + provides an opportunity to use modular solutions for the heat. For example, you can use the water cooling block Corsair Cooling Hydro H30 and thermoelectric system Ice T30.
