GeCube’s Radeon HD 4670 also receives GDDR4 memory
At the beginning of the year Sapphire has equipped Radeon HD 4670 with a large, quiet cooler, and GDDR4 memory. Similarly, decided to act and GeCube.
The new accelerator of that company has received GC-HD4670XTG4-E3 codename, and also has the GDDR4 memory type (instead GDDR3/DDR3) and higher working frequencies. They comprise 750 and 2200 MHz for the chip and memory respectively.
At the core of the product – 55-nm nucleus RV730XT with 320 stream processors, its complement of 512 MB memory with 128-bit access. In contrast to the development of Sapphire, GeCube cards have no HDMI output, and D-Sub, it is equipped with a pair of DVI connectors and an HDTV-Out.
