Scythe prepares the new processor cooler Big Shuriken, lower and more efficient than Shuriken
In the range of Scythe CPU cooler there is a model named Shuriken, which is a low device.
Scythe is preparing another version of this cooling device named Big Shuriken. The Big Shuriken will be different from the simple Shuriken with its size, the size of the fan and the number of heat pipes.
New product will have 120-mm fan and the overall dimensions 125 × 135 × 58 mm, ie promises to be more efficient and low in comparison with the first version.
The remaining elements of design are unchanged. This is a copper base in contact with the processor, aluminum radiator and an edge PWM-controlled fan that runs at 650-1600 revolutions per minute, which promises 12,91-28,89 dBA noise level when the air flow in cubic 15,77-38,05 / ft. min.
Weight of the device is 405 grams. Large Shuriken can be installed on the processor Intel LGA-1366/775 and AMD AM3/AM2 + / AM2/939. Price is not yet known.
