The new iMac and Mac mini could be released even today
Website HardMac (English version MacBidouille) reported that is in disposal of the codenames of the new models of iMac and Mac mini, which supposedly will be released today.
According to HardMac there will be four new iMac models:
MB417 – entry-level model;
MB418 – for the mass market;
MB419 – a high-level model;
MB420 – masthead model.
The sources of the web site claimed that only the lowest model will be equipped with 20-inch display, while the others with 24-inch.
Website OneMoreThing.nl, in turn, has published its own information on the new iMac and Mac mini, as well as a snapshot, which allegedly shows the rear side of the box of the new Mac mini.
Mac mini:
5x USB;
1x FireWire 800;
1x mini DVI;
1x mini Display port;
a set of system logic NVIDIA;
the younger model processor Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz;
1 or 2 GB DDR3 RAM (expandable to 4 GB);
hard drive – 120 GB (with possibility of upgrade to 320 GB).
iMac:
one 20-inch and three 24-inch model;
Core 2 Duo processors with frequencies of 2,66, 2,93 and 3,06 GHz.
mini Display port;
of the younger models 2GB of RAM, the rest – to 4 GB (expandable to 8 GB).
